Canola's 2:1 Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio and high level of Omega-9 is superior to most vegetable oils* and far exceeds typical Western diets (up to 20:1), making it ideal for daily consumption.
Why does this matter? What about Inflammation?
While many seed oils (not canola) are high in Omega-6 and criticised online for inflammation, recent studies are now pointing the finger at the ultra-processed foods rather then the high omega-6 they contain - regardless, evidence shows no inflammation when consumed in balanced amounts – which is why Canola's balanced 2:1 ratio is praised.
